·        Opposed ‘Clean Air Act’ relaxation of mercury emissions controls,4/25/2004
·         Clean Water Lobby Day, 4/6/2005
·        Jeri Gray as a LWV representative participated in the 4/4/2005 Wake Environmental Services consideration and approval of Extension of Sewer into Falls Lake Watershed for Camp Kanata.
·        Louise Romanow as a LWV representative spoke against the Butner sewer extension into Falls Lake
·        LWV supports legislation for stronger sediment control 9/15/05.

·         Follow legislation and inform the committee of developments.
·         Clip relevant articles from the newspaper(s) and the web, e.g. Raleigh EcoNews.
·         Participate in environmental lobbying efforts
·         Follow Wake County commissioners meetings and attend relevant work sessions
·         Research environmental issues such as impervious surface limits for watersheds.
·         Develop environmental questions for local candidates.
