2006 Endowment Development Fund Luncheon

On April 28, 2006, supporters of the League of Women Voters of North Carolina Endowment Development Fund met for lunch and dialogue at Fearrington Village. This year's contributions to the LWVNC Endowment Development Fund totaled over $6000. We have reached our halfway mark in our initial goal of $100,000 by 2008 through original Supporter gifts in 2001, Pace Setters' five year pledges of $1000 each year and other generous gifts from Leaguers. The Endowment Development Fund's purpose is to insure our future. Interest from these invested funds will enable us to provide grants to local Leagues for outstanding projects continuing creative opportunities of Educating and Advocating for Democracy. We are grateful to all who have embraced our efforts and thank you for your generosity.

Contributions are accepted at the League office at any time. We also hope you will be interested in growing our Legacy Circle. We have discovered simple and reasonable means of creating or revising a will through the internet.You might want to search "wills."
