The Friends of the Page-Walker Hotel was formed in 1985 to raise funds for and oversee the restoration of the Page-Walker Hotel, Cary's cornerstone landmark. With that mission largely accomplished, the scope of the organization has expanded and now includes...

History: Maintaining and developing the Cary Heritage Museum and the Page Educational Gardens and Arboretum. Developing the Cary Oral History Program. Producing and acquiring artifacts, furnishings and historical information about Cary and the Page-Walker Hotel.

Preservation: Indentifying and preserving historic structures in cooperation with the Town of Cary and other civic groups.

Visual Arts: Working with the Director of the Page-Walker to develop temporary and permanent art collections for display in the Hotel.

Performing Arts: Planning and coordinating the Evening Concert Series and Starlight Concert Series.

Literary Arts: Maintaining and developing the Walter Hines Page International Research Center.

Communications: Publicizing the activities and products of the organization through this website, press releases and publication of a quarterly newsletter, the Innkeeper.
