CONVENTIONS
The Fall Conference will be October 23 - 25, 2009, at Gatlinburg, TN. Registration formsare on Crescent's web site. While there are meetings and workshops, the conference is not just for the individuals who need to attend those functions. The fall foliage should be magnificent, and the area has lots of shopping and biking/hiking trails. The Saturday night party is always fun. Plan to be there!
TRIPS
Registrations are underway for both Crescent ski trips. The problems with the Steamboat contract have been resolved, and both John Casey and Lisa Beregi have issued the registration information. Race and Ski Camp will be held at Steamboat from December 5 - 12, 2009. Maximum participation is 350 members due to lodging and event facility capacities. Crescent's other major trip is to Whitefish, Montana from January 16-23, 2010. Information regarding that trip also is on Crescent's web site.
RACING
Racing continues to work on sponsorships. Ron and his able helpers do a great job; be sure to thank them the next time you see them.
MEMBER SERVICES
Please don't forget to advise Bruce McMurray, Crescent's database administrator, of any changes in your officers and chairs. His address is snowdawgasoc@bellsouth.net, This comment appears almost every month, but it's critical that ExComm reaches the correct individuals in your clubs.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Everyone on ExComm is busy working on their areas of responsibilities and the problems are minimal. It's very quiet right now, and that's the way I like it!
