Chronic disease stresses the mind, body, and spirit. People use alcohol and other drugs, physical therapy, behavioral therapy, acupuncture, surgery, meditation, yoga, massage, and a host of other traditional and alternative approaches in search of relief. Chronic pain can arise from a myriad of reasons, from accidental to iatrogenic, from an act of God to an act of negligence. Therapeutic Laughter is a complementary approach in medicine that promises not to miraculously cure your ills, but it will stimulate your body’s systems toward better balance. Laughter will ease your mind, and laughter will raise your spirits.
This session is for those suffering from chronic illness and those who care
for or about them. Dr. Happ will customize the session to the skills and abilities
of the audience (please call in advance for an interview).
