Wake
Social Services Foster Children Christmas Project update: Thanks to all!
The foster care project was a wonderful success for our
congregation. Our youth sorted our donations and filled 8
backpacks with paper, binders, pens, and crayons. They also
created 16 bags of toiletry items complete with combs, brushes,
toothpaste and toothbrushes, crayons, and paper. We also donated
20 stuffed animals, 3 blankets, and 2 bags full of pencils and
miscellaneous toiletry items. A few toys were included, as
well! Thanks to everyone for brightening the life of a foster
care child, just when they need it most. (These donations are
given by Wake Social Services to foster kids when they are
removed from their home and placed in foster care.)
