Triangle EAA normally meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month (usually at 10 am).

News (15 minutes)  - Brian Williams

Topics include updates on what's happening in Detroit, California, the US and across the world.

Main Program (40 Minutes) - Peter Eckhoff

A history of controllers from the Detroit Edison to AC Propulsion. (10 minutes)   

Background on power electronic components; their strengths and weaknesses. (10 minutes)

Specifics will be presented on the Curtis controller including under and over voltage protection circuits, amperage limiting, plug braking, diode circuit protection and other features of the Curtis family of controllers.
(20 minutes)

Appointment of Secretary of Membership (10 Minutes) - TEAA Staff/Members

We have received only one application so far.  This is a final call to our membership to submit your application to Teaaprez@ yahoo.com if you are at all interested in this position.  The position's general description is available from our web site at: http://www.rtpnet.org/teaa/bylaws.html   We will have a Secretary of Membership by the end of this meeting.

The position entails:

1)  facilitating club member contact info,
2)  temporarily facilitating interclub notification and communication,
3)  monitors member status, and
4)  aids in updating emailing list

With regard to #2 above, we see this as a temporary duty as liason between the President, Vice President, Secretary of Finance and the club members.    This is a way of registering member interest and generating member participation as well as keeping the lines of communication open and flowing.

New Web Site (20 minutes) - Brian Williams

After the meeting, we will be going over a draft of our new web site.  Brian Williams created new pages for us.  Please take a look at http://web.me.com/bpw3/TEAA2/Home.html   Constructive comments are always appreciated.
