General Christian Web Sites

The list below is mostly more purely Christian sites (except as noted).

• Christian Classics Ethereal Library at Calvin College; pointers to quite a collection of religious books on-line.
• The Christian Connection, a really pretty good personal collection, is especially good on contemporary Christian music.
• Christianity.Net, sponsored by Christianity Today, has a solid list of resources and a Church Locator.
• Pitts Theology Library at Emory University has access to a large and well-organized set of resources
• Christianity page of the Yahoo directory. It's well organized and mostly (not all) Christian. Some pointers to things that aren't at most of the other big sites.

Specialized Sites

• Grant and Reshoketjoe Lilford would like to invite Holy Family to take a look at the Lilford family website and virtually join them in Uganda.
• Ecclesiastical Calendar page, by Marcos J. Montes; his "Western" holidays are in fact Roman Catholic holidays, but it's still a very useful and well-researched resource.
• Liturgical/lectionary resources:
  • Episcopal Lectionary Page is well-done and easy to use.
  • Revised Common Lectionary from the Vanderbilt University's Divinity Library. This Eucharistic lectionary is used with modifications by the Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Roman Catholic churches: so what Vanderbilt has is close to, but not quite the same as, Episcopalian practice.
  • Sermons & Sermon-Lectionary Resources is impressive and usably organized.
• Additional Anglican/Episcopalian things:

  • CANTUS - A Database for Gregorian Chant from the Catholic University of America
