AMBER ALERT ISSUED IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA FOR WAYNE COUNTY TODDLER

 

RALEIGH -- The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued an AMBER Alert in eastern North Carolina at the request of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.  The Sheriff's Department is searching for Tatianna Jones, a 10-month old bi-racial female about 27 inches tall and weighing 22 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink & white infant onesie, blue jean shorts, pink sandals and she had an orange and green pacifier.

 

The abductor is Carnice Terrell Warren, age 23, a black male, 6 foot 1 inch tall, 185 pounds, with a thin beard and mustache.   He has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, black “Echo” pants, black Reebok shoes, a black toboggan with snowman emblem and a tattoo of the word “Outlaw” on his right arm.  

 

Warren and the child were last seen traveling north on Wayne Memorial Drive away from the town of Pikeville in a 2000 model white Oldsmobile Alero 4-door sedan, NC license plate SZJ-9455.

 

Warren is the child's biological father, but has assaulted the child's mother and grandmother and threatened to harm the child. 

 

If anyone has seen the car, the child or the abductor, they should call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 919-731-1562.  Reporters who have questions about the case should call the same number.
