Amber Alert Issued for 5 Year Old Virginia Boy

  The Spotsylvania  Police Department and the Virginia State Police issued
the Amber Alert after the child was abducted on Tuesday afternoon.

Tyron Atkins,  5 years old.  He's three feet tall and 40 pounds.  He was
last seen wearing a red shirt and red shorts.

  Police say Atkins was likely abducted by 32-year-old Janell Butler and an
unknown black male, who is six feet tall and 220 pounds. He is wearing a
black sweatshirt. Butler is a black female and is five-feet-five inches
tall, weighing 170 pounds from the Richmond area.

  They may be in a 1999 dark green Ford Winstar mini-van with Virginia
license
 JXT-4820.  They were last seen in the area of Ladysmith Food Lion about
10:30 a.m. headed SOUTH on Virginia Route 1.
