“Welcome Home Project” to help United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
NCPCA is providing furnishings for a refugee family!
Move-in week for the furniture is scheduled for Feb 14 – 20. Details of location and family will be known on Feb 7.
Volunteers are needed evenings and/or weekend of Feb 19 – 20.
We will provide dinner for the family on move-in day.
Myron Fountain is the project coordinator and is collecting/storing the furnishings needed to set-up an apartment for a family of four. Contact Myron Fountain, mfountain@nc.rr.com, 919-880-1993. Myron will arrange pick-up of items.
Need:
2 Mattress/Box spring – Twin- and/or Double-size
3 Bed Frames
Bedside tables
Set of drawers, shelves or other unit appropriate for storage of clothing
