Items Needed for Silent Auction 2008
One of the most successful and delightful events from last year was Africa Night's Silent Auction, which yielded significantly to our overall profit line, making possible our commitment to fund our Peace Corps Volunteer Partnership Project in Africa. Deciding to repeat the auction was not difficult as so many of you responded to our appeal for donations last year that we knew what would be worth repeating in 2008. Therefore, in order to secure your donations and solicitation from socially consciously businesses and individuals, we have prepared a letter stating our non-profit 501 (C) (3) status, which you can download and copy for your use.
Please bring your donated and/or solicited items to Africa Night April 5, 2008 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh at 3313 Wade Avenue in Raleigh by 5:00 PM or drop them off before April 5, 2008, at the following locations: Raleigh Drop Off: Home of Emily Coble 1536 Maybrook Drive Raleigh, phone 231-6874. Cary Drop Off: Home of Athena Tracy 106 Talon Drive, Cary, phone 467-5416. Durham Drop Off: Home of Margaret Riley 3910 Sturbridge Drive Durham, phone 403-2684.
The Steering Committee encourages your participation and generosity in providing items for the Silent Auction, and your commitment to attend Africa Night. We welcome your help in making the evening successful in funding our Partnership Project in South Africa. Thank you so much for your continued support.
