The Durham Men's Halfway House is a ten-bed halfway house that provides up to six months of recovery services for alcohol/drug addicted men, and those who are dually diagnosed. We serve a diverse population of men in our houses. We also make treatment available to people without regard to their ability to pay. Our in-house clinical program provides comprehensive services to each resident, based on a person-centered, individualized treatment plan.

This program offers a safe, structured environment that incorporates a program to help residents recover and regain necessary life skills, including:

• securing employment
• functioning as a member of the house community and the community-at-large
• securing permanent housing upon program completion
• reuniting with their families upon graduation
• receiving direction and oversight, professional counseling, educational support, vocational support, clinical support, and life skills training
