Mentoring/Tutoring CISOC needs you! Do you have one hour a week to spare? Do you have patience and a concern for the future of this community's youth? If you answered yes to these questions, you can be a mentor or tutor. CISOC champions the connection of needed community resources with schools to help young people successfully learn, stay in school and prepare for life. YOU are an important community resource! There are over 1200 students in our programs. To spend an hour a week with just one child would dramatically improve that child's learning and living experience. Our students who are matched with tutors show improvements in their end-of-grade test scores and their attendance.
