TOBACCO-USE PREVENTION POLICY PRIORITIES
- Establish comprehensive, statewide smoke-free legislation for indoor worksites and public places and restore local control
- Increase tobacco excise taxes
- Monitor the use of Master Settlement Funds
OBESITY PREVENTION POLICY PRIORITIES
- Require quality physical education in schools
- Promote improved nutrition policies for schools and access to healthy eating within communities
- Promote built environments that integrate physical activity into daily life
